MGCLatticeInventoryJournalPostingService

Custom service for inventory journal posting operations: movement, adjustment, counting, transfer, BOM, tag counting and consignment ownership change journals. Each operation creates and posts one journal and returns its number as DocumentId. PostedDocumentId is the same journal for the movement, adjustment, counting, transfer and BOM journals, the counting journal a tag counting journal creates, and the purchase order an ownership change creates. A journal an operation created and could not post is deleted again. No operation of this service has a preview: PreviewMode set is refused.

countingAdjustmentQty

Returns the quantity a counting journal line posts: the counted quantity minus the on-hand quantity at the transaction date - the formula of InventMov_Journal.journalSetCounted.

postBOMJournal

Posts a BOM journal: each line reports a BOM item as finished and consumes its BOM's components outside production, as the BOM journal's Report as finished followed by Post does (BOMReportFinish, then InventJournalCheckPost). The journal and its lines are created and committed first, then posted; success is reported only when the journal is marked posted. A journal that could not be posted is deleted again.

isTagWithoutItem

Returns whether a tag status is the status of a tag that counted no item: voided or missing. Any other status (Used, or 0 when the caller sent none) is a tag that counted an item.

postTagCountingJournal

Posts a tag counting journal. In the standard, posting the tags (InventJournalCheckPost_Tag) does not change on-hand: it creates a counting journal (the default counting journal name of the inventory parameters) with one line per item and dimensions, counted = the sum of the used tags, and leaves it open for review. This operation does the same and returns that counting journal; with PostCountingJournal it also posts the counting journal, which adjusts on-hand to the counted quantities. The tag posting and the counting journal posting run in one transaction: either both succeed or neither is posted. A tag journal that could not be posted is deleted again.

postOwnershipChangeJournal

Posts a consignment inventory ownership change journal: vendor-owned stock becomes the legal entity's own. The standard posting (InventJournalCheckPost_Movement_OwnershipChange) moves the quantity from the vendor's owner to the legal entity's owner without a financial impact, and creates, confirms and receives a purchase order per vendor for it, which the vendor then invoices. The journal and its lines are created and committed first, then posted; success is reported only when the journal is marked posted. A journal that could not be posted is deleted again.
