parseTransactionType

The fixed asset journal transaction type a postAssetTransaction line names, by the name of the AssetTransTypeJournal value (case does not matter). Only the transactions after acquisition that the fixed asset journal posts are returned: acquisition adjustment, depreciation, depreciation adjustment, revaluation, write-up and write-down adjustment, extraordinary and bonus depreciation.

  • Visibility: public
  • Returns: AssetTransTypeJournal The transaction type; None for any other name.
NameTypeOptionalDescription
_namestrNoThe transaction type name the request sent.

postAssetTransaction

Posts fixed asset transactions after acquisition in a new fixed asset journal, as the fixed asset journal page does: acquisition adjustments, depreciation, depreciation adjustments, revaluations, write-up and write-down adjustments, extraordinary and bonus depreciation. The lines are created with the standard AssetJournal (posting profile, offset account, default dimensions, text and voucher as the fixed asset proposals create them) and the journal is posted with LedgerJournalCheckPost.

  • Visibility: public
  • Returns: MGCLatticeOrderOperationResponseContract An MGCLatticeOrderOperationResponseContract: DocumentId is the posted journal, PostedDocumentId the voucher of its first line; the message lists every voucher.
NameTypeOptionalDescription

transferAsset

Transfers a fixed asset to new financial dimensions with the standard asset transfer (AssetTransfer, the Transfer asset action of the fixed asset page) and posts what it creates, and moves the asset to a new location. The transfer moves each book's balance from its current default dimensions to the new ones (a general ledger voucher and an asset transfer transaction per book), records the transfer history and gives the book the new default dimensions; the location is the asset's location field.

  • Visibility: public
  • Returns: MGCLatticeOrderOperationResponseContract An MGCLatticeOrderOperationResponseContract: DocumentId is the fixed asset, PostedDocumentId the voucher of the first transferred book (empty for a location-only transfer); the message lists the books and vouchers.
NameTypeOptionalDescription
_requestMGCLatticeFixedAssetTransferRequestContractNoThe request containing AssetId (or AssetIdExternalKey), AssetBookId (optional), Dimensions, LocationId, TransferDate, Comment and the standard header fields.

transferAssetBatch

NameTypeOptionalDescription

splitAsset

Splits a fixed asset book with the standard asset split (AssetSplit, the fixed asset book's Split asset action) and posts the split journal it creates, in one transaction. The split moves the percentage of the book's acquisition, depreciation and other values to a book of the receiving asset: an existing asset, or a new asset created as a copy of the asset to split with the standard Copy fixed asset (AssetCopy: same group and details, every book copied, none acquired).

  • Visibility: public
  • Returns: MGCLatticeOrderOperationResponseContract An MGCLatticeOrderOperationResponseContract: DocumentId is the asset that was split, PostedDocumentId the asset that received the split (the new asset when one was created); the message names the posted split journal.

  • Visibility: public
  • Returns: MGCLatticeBulkOperationResponseContract An MGCLatticeBulkOperationResponseContract containing per-item results.
NameTypeOptionalDescription

reverseAssetTransaction

Reverses a posted fixed asset voucher of a book with the standard fixed asset transaction reversal (TransactionReversal_Asset, the fixed asset transactions page's Reverse transaction), called as the standard reversal provider (AssetTransactionReversal) calls it, with a TransactionReversalContract so no dialog is shown: the ledger voucher and every asset transaction of the voucher are reversed and the book is updated (a reversed acquisition, depreciation or disposal resets the book as the standard reversal does), in one transaction.

  • Visibility: public
  • Returns: MGCLatticeOrderOperationResponseContract An MGCLatticeOrderOperationResponseContract: DocumentId is the reversed voucher, PostedDocumentId the reversal voucher.
