Get started
The best way to evaluate a control is to watch it stop something. Warden is free in non-production environments with no time limit, so you can prove the controls against your own processes before production is involved.
Deploy to a sandbox
- Sign in at magicite.tech with your Microsoft work account. Authentication is your organization's Entra identity; no separate account is created.
- Start a trial for Warden and name a non-production environment (sandbox, UAT, or development).
- Download the deployable package (a
.zipfile) from your account. - Deploy it through Lifecycle Services or the deployment tooling your team already uses.
- Configure a control on a process you know, make a change that should require approval, and confirm the approval resumes at the change. Then pull the activity trail and check it recorded both the change and who viewed the record.
The package validates its license against the Magicite licensing service, so the environment needs outbound connectivity for that call.
Confirm your environment's release wave against the compatibility matrix before deploying.
Production and billing
Production deployments go through source control, like any other ISV package: add the Warden package to your source control, include it in your build, and promote the resulting deployable package to production through Lifecycle Services or the Power Platform admin center.
When Warden goes into a production instance, billing detection starts. You have a 21-day grace window from detection to subscribe, and enforcement is soft: warnings, never an abrupt hard stop on a control system your auditors depend on.
The subscription is 6,000 USD per production instance per year, flat, with every feature included. Ordering is online with invoice billing (purchase order or wire). Non-production environments remain free regardless of how many you run.
