Get started

You can run Lattice in any non-production Finance & Operations environment for free, with no time limit and no feature cuts. Billing only ever applies to production instances.

Run Lattice in a sandbox

  1. Go to magicite.tech and sign in with your Microsoft work account. There is no separate account to create; sign-in uses your organization's Microsoft Entra identity.
  2. Start a trial for Lattice and name a non-production environment: a sandbox, UAT, or development instance.
  3. Download the deployable package (a .zip file) from your account.
  4. Deploy the package to the environment you named, using Lifecycle Services or the deployment tooling your team already uses for Finance & Operations packages.
  5. Point your integrations at the new surface and run it against your own data. There is no expiry date on non-production use, so take the time you need to validate it properly.

The package validates its license by contacting the Magicite licensing service, so the environment needs outbound connectivity for that check.

tip

Check the compatibility matrix before you deploy, so the package version matches your environment's release wave.

Moving to production

Production deployments go through source control, like any other ISV package: add the Lattice package to your source control, include it in your build, and promote the resulting deployable package to production through Lifecycle Services or the Power Platform admin center.

Billing begins only when Lattice is detected running in production without a subscription. From that point you have a 21-day grace window to subscribe; enforcement is soft, meaning warnings rather than a hard stop.

A subscription is a flat 6,000 USD per production instance per year, every feature included. You order online and are invoiced (purchase order or wire); no credit card is required. A second production instance needs its own subscription, while all your non-production environments stay free.
