Get started
The right way to evaluate a deal engine is to run a deal through it. Earmark is free in non-production environments with no time limit, so you can take a real trade deal from approval to a settled customer claim on a copy of your own data before it ever touches production.
Run one deal end to end in your sandbox
- Sign in at magicite.tech with your Microsoft work account. Sign-in uses your organization's Entra identity; there is no separate account.
- Start a trial for Earmark and name a non-production environment (a sandbox or UAT instance with a recent copy of production data works best, because you want real customers, items and prices).
- Download the deployable package (a
.zipfile) from your account. - Deploy it via Lifecycle Services or your standard Finance & Operations deployment tooling.
- Complete the setup checklist: the Earmark workspace shows a tile for every setup gap (posting profile, number sequences, approval workflow, dimension rules, segregation rules) and each tile clears itself once the gap is closed. Every module toggle is off at install, so switch on the customer module first.
- Author one deal for a customer you know well, submit it, and approve it as a different user. Accept a sales order for that customer and watch the line price build. Post the packing slip and find the accrual in the deal control workspace. Generate the claim, approve it, and see the credit land on the customer's account. Compare every figure with what your current process would have produced.
Earmark validates its license by contacting the Magicite licensing service, so the environment needs outbound connectivity for that check. A lapsed license never blocks a posting, a shipment or a claim; it only shows a warning.
Check Compatibility first so the package release matches your environment's release wave.
Production and subscription
Production deployments go through source control, like any other ISV package: add the Earmark package to your source control, include it in your build, and promote the resulting deployable package to production through Lifecycle Services or the Power Platform admin center.
Billing starts only when Earmark is detected running in a production instance without a subscription, and detection opens a 21-day grace window to subscribe. Enforcement is soft: warnings, never a hard stop in the middle of a posting run.
The price is a flat 6,000 USD per production instance per year, all features included, customer and vendor sides alike. Ordering is online with invoice billing (purchase order or wire); no credit card is involved. Non-production environments are free, always.
